In the main National Park car park in Grassington, head to the southern corner where a gate leads onto a flagged and walled lane. Follow this down to the bridge over Linton Falls.

Just before the bridge is reached, take the footpath off to the left and follow the river downstream. Follow the footpath to a lane and turn right, passing a fish farm and some houses, to exit into a field. Cross the field to a footbridge (ignoring the track to your left) and continue along the river bank until you reach the suspension bridge south of Hebden.

Cross this bridge (or the stepping stones beside it) and very shortly afterwards, take a gate to your right and follow the path up the steep hill through newly planted woodland. Follow this to the road and go straight up a small road directly opposite, signposted to Thorpe.

This road then drops down into Thorpe. Turn right at the bottom and just as you leave Thorpe, take the road going up to your left. After a bridleway leaves the lane, take the footpath to your right over a stone stile. Drop down the field and back up to the right of a small wooded area, follow this until it turns into a track. Before the farmyard is reached, turn right into a field and follow the footpath along the edge of the field to exit on the road. Turn right into Linton.

Continue to the road bridge through Linton, cross the river, then turn right onto the footpath to Threshfield. Where it exits from the lane take the right hand footpath towards the small wooded area, go under the old railway bridge and across the fields to the road on the outskirts of Threshfield. Cross the road, turn right, then left onto a bridleway across the field and re-crossing the old railway to join the road by a school.

Turn right onto the road, cross a bridge and then turn left towards Linton Church. Just before the houses, a footpath goes off to your left. Go down here, turn right before you get to the little footbridge and follow it round to the bridge over Linton Falls. Return to the car park up the flagged lane.
